Turn Over

Hunter finally learned how to turn over. This just may be the last time he listens to me, but I'll take it. Hunter seems to be feeling much better. Just some skin issues now, this is why his face is a little red. Nothing we can't handle. He was at Chase daycare this week and misses the Davis' family a lot. He just loves playing with Mitch, Lauren and Giselle. And I think they love playing with him. We have been so blessed to have a great friend and neighbor agree to watch Hunter while we are at work. We couldn't have asked for a better care taker.

From 5 Months

Little Hunter is still trying to get better. Last Wednesday Justin took him to the doctor because it seemed his cough was getting worse. When Justin got there, the doc said that his blood oxygen level was low (93). And since he doesn't smoke, that is not normal. So, they sent him to the hospital to get some x-rays taken. His lungs look good which rules out pneumonia. They gave us a nebulizer and some meds to do breathing treatments 3 times a day. We went back on Thursday only to find that his level was 95 which was improving but not the best. We are hoping the treatments help. He is in good spirits in spite of the cough which is a good sign. Other than this mild issue, he is growing like a weed. He is 14 lbs now and is starting to like his tummy time. Lots of talking, lots of laughs and many many beautiful smiles.

So much to share! Hunter is developing his personality now. He is sticking his tongue out, laughing and just enjoying life. His blessing was yesterday and he wore his Daddy's baptismal gown when he was a baby. Hunter looked like a little angel. In the blessing our home teacher Cory Davis blessed Hunter with health, courage and strength. He blessed Hunter that he would be a peacemaker and that he would be filled with humor and that during his trials in life he would find humor in it all. That is just like his Grandpa Deymonaz. Last week we went to the D-Backs game and watched from the party suite. Thank you Erin for our tickets, we had a great time!

Bouncing Baby Boy

Here is Hunter bouncing for the first time. Yes, he is bouncing all on his own. What a bundle of energy, even with the chicken pox!

Chicken Pox

Believe it or not, Hunter has the chicken pox. No pictures this week or next until he is pox free. Although, he still does look cute and despite the pain and itching, he still finds the time to smile at me. Justin is working a side job this week to get some extra money to pay off some debt. I have once again found myself at home with Hunter. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, and think it is a blessing in disguise, but I'm not so sure my work is happy about it. I'll work it out though, I've been fortunate enough to have very understanding managers.

First Laugh

Went to Aunt Aimee's yesterday for a jewelry party, but that is not what made me laugh. Watched their new puppy torture Chase the cat, but that is not what made me laugh. Watched cousin Andrew run around like a crazy person, but that is not what made me laugh. It was Aunt Heidi who made me laugh so hard!. Grandma Deymonaz said that my mom is in trouble because I like the thrill. Not sure what that means, but it sounds like fun. I hope Aunt Heidi will show me some more of that thrill thing again.

Love,

Hunter

3 Months and Counting

Hunter is now three months old, I can not believe it! He is getting so big. He is now smiling often, lifts his head up when lying on his tummy and talks so much! I completed my first week back to work and Hunter's first week in Daycare. He loves his care takers and so does mommy. They do so much with him and take pictures and already have him working on crafts at 3 months. My little angel is painting! It definitely makes it easier on me to see him at lunch time and a few breaks to keep me motivated at work. Next week Hunter and I are having our first play date with a few other ladies and their kids at work. I'm looking forward to chatting baby talk with other moms.

Back to Work

Well it is official.  I am back to work on Tuesday.  Went to a funeral of a friend's dad yesterday it was a nice funeral, their family seems to be doing as well as possible.  Also got to hang out with Debbie, Heidi and Mom, we had a great time.  Hunter LOVES his Aunt Heidi, I wish she lived closer so that she could watch Hunter.  Well here are a few pics of the cutest baby in the world.  I just love his little tie.  I could just eat him up.  :-)<

11 Weeks Today

Hunter is 11 weeks today. One more week left with Mommy and then it is off to the daycare. I am really nervous about it but met his caretaker today and she is a little old Grandma named Coral. She is a very nice lady and seems like she knows her stuff. Plus I will only be 50 feet away in another building so can stop by if I am going through Hunter withdrawals.

Hunter Weeks 8-10

Hunter continues to amaze me.  He is already attempting to roll over and giggle.  As you can tell he loves his Daddy.

This is the new addition to our family at 10 weeks old.

What a happy little Hunter!  He is all smiles lately and just loves to coo at Mommy and Daddy.  I'm so proud of my little man and love him so much.  He is such a blessing to our family.  Everyone wants to get a turn to hold him.  He is not yet sleeping through the night but that is okay, for now.  :-)
